We’ve unlocked personal lists for Free plan users. You can now create and manage your own lists – just like Premium users. To make it even easier to get started, a new call-to-action button has been added to the “Your lists” empty state on the home screen, guiding users to create their first list.

This update gives Free users more flexibility and makes it easier to personalize the app experience from day one.

The Translation history feature combines your Live Translate and phrase library activity into a single session view. This allows users to retain conversations for documentation or for sharing with care recipients.

Functionality:

• Source identification: The history view displays whether a translation originated from Live Translate or the phrase library.
• Data retention: The Translation history remains saved on the device until it's deleted by the user.
• Exporting: Users can export history by copying it to the device clipboard. Export options include the source language, the target language, or both.

Users can configure the following preferences in the Settings menu:

• Enable/disable: Turn Translation history on or off.
• Display languages: Choose to view history in your language only, or in both your language and the target language.
• Auto-clear: Enable the option to automatically clear Translation history upon signing out of the account.

Translation history can be accessed via a banner on the home page or directly through the Settings menu.

• Some dialects were not available from the dialect picker in the web app.
• When pressing a newly released language from the What's new section (the bell icon), the language will be highlighted at the top of the language list with a badge.

• We’ve made it possible to activate Live Translate with speech-to-text directly from the home screen in the app – making instant communication even smoother.
• For new users, we've moved the introduction demo to the home screen.

With the new release we've enabled even more Stripe payment methods – making it possible going forward to buy a Premium subscription or Teams license from the website or web app with other payment options than card.

• Text-to-speech (the audio button) was randomly missing in Live Translate.

The speech-to-text feature for Live Translate on web now supports real-time transcription and is thereby aligned with the native App.

All users now have access to Image Support, making it possible to use visual aids during the translation process.

We’re simplifying some of the terminology used in the app and the Portal. Here’s what’s changing:

• Playlist is now List
• Active library is now User mode
• Group is now Collection

We hope this change will make nagivating in the app more straightforward for all users.
