Improved compliance

Make sure all patients can give their informed consent to procedures. Gather important medical history and assess the severity of pain. Give postoperative care, provide instructions and explain medication. All in the patients' own language.

Increased patient safety

Safe surgery requires the accurate collecting of information. Ask important yes/no questions before and after surgery. Use standardized checklists and make sure all patients get the same information, no matter what language they speak.

Better patient care

Being admitted to the ICU can be a scary experience. Calm, reassure and inform patients around the clock, even when an interpreter isn’t available. Communicate during the entire stay and provide better patient care.

“The patient was sedated and when we woke him up, he was naturally terrified. He didn’t know what had happened to him. He had tubes in his throat, and he could barely move. Then we used the app to explain to him in his language that he was in the hospital and that he had been in an accident. In situations like that, it’s a great tool to have. It really helped to calm him down.”
