We just got ISO certified!

Going through an ISO process is no easy journey. It takes time (around 7 months for us), hard work, and serious dedication from the entire team. ISO 27001 has been on our roadmap for a long time, but it’s definitely not something you achieve overnight. If you're familiar with ISO standards, you already know just how much goes into it.

Once you receive your certification, it’s easy to feel like the job is done – that you can simply move on to other projects and wait for the next audit. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Getting certified is just the beginning.

ISO isn't something you achieve once and walk away from. It’s an ongoing system to maintain. A stamp of approval and a promise that we will continuously prioritize data security in everything we do.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is the international gold standard for information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection. It outlines how an Information Security Management System (ISMS) should be implemented, maintained, and improved to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

In short, ISO 27001 proves that we handle information security in a standardized, safe, and transparent way.

• Passing annual audits: ISO standards require an annual evaluation by an independent auditor. This gives us a built-in opportunity every year to review and refine our processes.
• Staying certified: We are committed to passing our annual audits and keeping this certification active for our customers. While the heaviest lifting happened during the months leading up to our first audit, every year offers a fresh chance to raise the bar.
