Following a successful trial, Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW) will provide the medical translation platform to up to 400 users.

Care to Translate is pleased to welcome Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW) as a new Enterprise customer following a successful trial of the medical translation platform.

LCSNW began evaluating Care to Translate in June 2026. Following the initial trial period, the organization decided to move forward with an Enterprise license supporting up to 400 users.

The implementation adds Care to Translate as a multilingual communication resource for LCSNW staff, helping make communication across language barriers more accessible in everyday interactions.

About Lutheran Community Services Northwest

Lutheran Community Services Northwest is a nonprofit organization supporting individuals, families, and communities through a wide range of health and social services.

Working with people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds makes accessible communication an important part of the organization’s work. Care to Translate provides staff with an additional digital resource for situations where language differences can make communication more difficult.

From trial to organization-wide implementation

LCSNW started with a 30-day evaluation of Care to Translate. During the trial, the organization evaluated both the application and how it could be deployed within its existing IT environment.

A key consideration was making implementation straightforward for staff. Care to Translate was prepared for deployment through LCSNW’s mobile device management (MDM) environment, with Single Sign-On and enforced user authentication.

The organization also received access to the Care to Translate Admin Portal, allowing administrators to structure users by team, department, or location and follow usage across the organization.

The initial implementation experience was positive. During the trial, John Erikson, Cybersecurity Specialist at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, commented:

“We are still currently testing the application, but the set up and rollout was very simple.”

Following the evaluation period, LCSNW converted the trial into an annual Enterprise subscription.

Maja Magnusson, CEO and co-founder of Care to Translate, comments:

“We are very happy to welcome Lutheran Community Services Northwest as a long-term customer. What stands out about this implementation is how thoughtfully they approached both accessibility and deployment. For a solution like Care to Translate to create value, it needs to be easy for staff to access when a language barrier occurs."

We are looking forward to supporting LCSNW as they continue the rollout across their organization.

Making multilingual communication easier to access

For large organizations, introducing another digital tool can create unnecessary complexity unless deployment and access are carefully planned.

The implementation at LCSNW demonstrates how Care to Translate can be introduced through existing organizational infrastructure, including mobile device management and Single Sign-On, while providing administrators with centralized control and usage insights.

As the collaboration continues, Care to Translate will support LCSNW with ongoing technical support, digital super-user training, and regular evaluation of the implementation.
