A look back at a year of growth, innovation, and global impact – making healthcare communication safer, faster, and more inclusive across borders.
Caring across languages is one of healthcare’s biggest challenges – and in 2025, the need for safe, compliant, and instant communication became clearer than ever. In 2025 Care to Translate took major steps forward in helping healthcare professionals communicate with confidence, wherever care is delivered.
From product innovation to global adoption, partnerships, and recognition, here’s a look at what we achieved together in 2025.

In January, we launched Live Translate – real-time AI translation in over 130 languages, designed to complement our medically verified phrase library and support communication in the moment.
Throughout the year, we continued to build on this capability, adding:
All to make everyday care communication faster, clearer, and safer.
The most translated phrases included:

We also expanded our verified phrase library with Japanese and Estonian, bringing the total to 49 medically verified languages, and introduced 16 Arabic dialects – a major step toward more nuanced, person-centered communication.

In 2025, we welcomed new customers who share our mission to tear down language barriers in care, including:
We also partnered with non-profits to support care regardless of financial conditions, including:
We were proud to be selected as a translation service partner to Inera AB, whose solutions form the backbone of Sweden’s digital welfare system – and to be procured by Region Uppsala.
Together with our partners, we added new medically verified content for:
With collaboration partners including Bayer, Capio Sweden, and Helse Sør-Øst RHF.

We shared insights on language access, digital health, and Nordic tech through pitch competitions, podcasts, and tech talks. We exhibited at events across Sweden and Switzerland, including e-Hälsa+MVTe, Vitalis, Röntgenveckan, and GTH 2025.
We also hosted multiple webinars on topics such as:
All available on demand on our website.
And to top it off – we were honored with the Red Dot Design Award, and maintained a 4.6 app store rating, with feedback highlighting the app’s precision and value in daily patient care.
“I use the app as a healthcare professional and find it truly comprehensive and precise for both daily and specific patient care! I highly recommend it if you need assistance acquiring appropriate medical vocabulary in another language!”
None of this would be possible without the healthcare professionals, organizations, partners, and users who chose Care to Translate in 2025. Every translation helps reduce risk, build trust, and make care more accessible.
